Tulips around the corner
In DC, after the cherry blossoms come the tulips (also early this year). The National Mall always has amazing tulip beds that tourists and locals flock to in order to see all of the different varieties. Two weeks ago I found a spot nearby my apartment that had an impressive amount of tulips of all shapes and colors. It’s at the Marriott Wardman Park in Woodley Park. Here are a few shots from the grounds surrounding that historic hotel. I had no idea they planted so many tulips. It was a nice spring surprise.
